Visit the surrounding of Eyjafjallajokull that erupted in 2010 (and closed down all air traffic over the Atlantic Ocean).

Agenda is as simple as 2 + 2 first we’ll warm up hiking to our farthest destination, before descending into each cave we start with stretching, then exploration time and be ready for some squats, push-ups and more stretching ! More effort you put into these exercises more you’ll see and oh boy take our word for it, there is plenty to see ! Depending on your fit level we’ll see anywhere between 2 to 4 caves. So you’ll get some cardio/ work out day for sure. We do caving often and we know there is nothing better than warm bath after half a day spent underground in humid and cool environment but than again bath sounds sooo boring. We will head towards Hraunfossar waterfalls where a series of waterfalls run over the side of the Hvítá river canyon from Barnafoss (Children fall). From there we will continue to the most powerful hot spring named Deildartunguhver t180 liters per second and the water is about about 97°celsius. After exploring Deildartunguhver it’s ideal to have a lunch break. After lunch we will visit Snorrastofa museum in Reykholt there we will view the exhibit of Snorri’s writings as well as seeing the modern church and Snorralaug which is the oldest man made construction and protected by the National Museum. On our way back will meet a local family that informs us about living in the country side and we get to see their beautiful horses. We will return back in Reykjavík about 5pm.

Here we set out on a private tour from Reykjavík/ Keflavík airport area onto exploring the mesmerizing south coast of Iceland! The first 150 km take us through idyllic Icelandic farmland. But from there it starts to get more interesting. Our journey takes us through a desert like volcanic landscape for more than 30km before we reach Landmannalaugar. Powerful geysers and glacial streams all add to the unique beauty of this fascinating place. Crossing rivers and driving on coarse gravel roads on our way will give us an experience to remember. We will make a stop at Crater Lake Ljótipollur, formed in 1477 and now filled with a cobalt-blue deep lake. We also stop at lake Frostastaðavatn, before we reach our main destination. We will stop for 2-3 hours in Landmannalaugar and you can take a beautiful hike. After about an hour's hike we can unwind in a natural pool or explore the territory on our own before we head back. On our way back we will take the Dómadalur route that takes us through lava fields and between high mountains, there are lots of rivers we have to ford and see some magnificient waterfall.
