Eger is a beautiful baroque city located in Northern Hungary and known for its castle, thermal baths, historic buildings (including the northernmost Turkish minaret) and red wines. Lake Balaton is the essence of Hungarian rural beauty. Hungary's version of Provance or Tuscany. In March and April the weather is perfect, the scenery is at its best, the trees and flowers are blooming. However, any time of the year, you will enjoy stunning views, the most beautiful village in the country with century-old whitewashed houses. The driving time is about 90 minutes. Then we use the ferry to cross the lake (together with the car), where you can already enjoy the beautiful view of the Lake. The ferry takes us to the nicest part of the lake, a quaint village with the best views.

Take a private tour from Budapest to the unique 300-meter-long cave system of Tapolca, situated under the heart of the charming town near Lake Balaton. It was opened to the public in 1912 after ten years of its discovery. Small boats can be hired to explore the cave system. Merely 15–20 m below the town a 5 km long cave system criss-crosses the Miocene limestone layers. This includes the 3.3 km long cave lake, which is mostly filled with karst water. The cave was discovered in 1903 during well digging.
