Also, Tinos was inhabited by the Venetians for 500 years and there are still plenty of pigeon houses and also many Catholic villages. *On our bus tour, we visit the church, see valleys of the pigeon houses, traditional villages (where you can enjoy lunch in a tavern with great views and local specialties), and the woman’s monastery of Kechrovouni. *We also stop in Pyrgos and we visit a marble artist in his workshop and the village of Volax, famous for the big granite rocks dominating the landscape. *Back in Tinos town, you have free time for shopping and to relax at the harbor front before we make our way back to Mykonos by ferry.
