Discover the seaside village of Elounda and walk amongst history on the island of Spinalonga. Finishing our touring on this much afflicted place, we head for the small bay of Kolokitha. It’s one of the most beautiful beaches on Crete. It is a remote beach with white sand and deep blue serene water, side by side with old olive groves. There we can swim from the boat. Here you have plenty of time for swimming at the crystal clear waters, tasting the BBQ served on board. The menu includes pork* chop BBQ, greek salad, feta cheese, bread, wine or Fanta and seasonal fruit.(EVERY SUNDAY the dinner is in a tavern we DONT have BBQ on board) After our short respite, we go back to Elounda. Then we move to the picturesque town of Agios Nikolaos, where we have our last stop. We have the chance to enjoy our coffee getting a perfect view of the magnificent lake, do our shopping in the traditional local shops and relax for a while before we hit the road for our going back.

When History meets art and craft. This excursion is for those who want to discover Crete from Rethymnon without a long way driving in bus. We start from the most important monastery of Crete: The Historical Monastery of Arkadi. After that, we will visit the Museum of Ancient Eleftherna with its historical findings from Homer’s era. Afterward, you will enjoy a guided tour to the pottery workshop “TSIKALARIO", where Mrs Helen will show us the art of pottery. Right after, in a 2 km distance only, you will visit Margarites village where you will have free time for a lunch or a walk. After that, we will visit Melidoni Vilage and explore Melidoni cave at an altitude of 220 meters. You will discover an amazing cave filled full with stalactites and stalagmites, but also full of History. At the end of the tour we will visit a traditional olive oil mill, where you’ll have free time to learn about olive oil production and enjoy a tasting of premium Cretan olive oil.

We reach the famous beach of Matala. This is the place where Zeus, having taken the form a bull, swam ashore with Europa on his back before dragging her off to Gortys. Both the Minoans and the Romans used the place as their harbor. Nevertheless, for most people, Matala means only one thing: hippies. Back in the late 1960s - 1970s, this little town was a colony of the “flower children”, who lived in the caves that used to be former Roman tombs. This is a challenging walking tour from one end of the gorge to the other (18 kms). Start  in Chania with a comfortable bus and then prepare to be wowed by the gorge, as high limestone cliffs and quaint villages create the background for a great hike.

PRICE IS PER BOAT: That is why you book only as 1 adult. The minibus picks you up outside your hotel and takes you to the port in Hersonissos, where the boat leaves when your ready. Before leaving you will get a short briefing off 15 min. Then you have the rest of the day to enjoy the water and sun. There is a tent on board so there is also shade when needed. If you bring your own food en drinks we will provide a cool box to keep everything cold. The range of the boat is 5 navy miles to the left and to the right. So that means between Gournes/ Gouves and Malia. The Boat has a GPS so they can track you every moment also in case of emergency. The boat has 1 extra spare motor. No boat license is mandatory.
