There, we will visit the monasteries and have a closer look at the massive rocks where one of the most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox Monasteries is located. Afterwards, we will move to the town of Kalampaka for lunch, and then we will head to Thermopylae and visit the battleground where the famous battle of Thermopylae took place between an alliance of Greek city-states and the Persian Empire. After seeing the statue of Leonidas, we will return to Athens.

Within the site, visitors can also admire the ancient theater, where musical competitions, celebrations and ceremonies were staged; the ancient stadium, one of antiquity’s best preserved monuments, where the Pythian Games were held; the ancient gymnasium, used as a training ground for athletes; the Archaeological Museum with its exquisite bronze statue of the “Charioteer”, as well as the contemporary facilities of the European Cultural Center of Delphi and the Angelos and Eva Sikelianos Museum of Delphic Festivals.

Our trip starts from Athens. 2 amazing days to the most majestic archaelogical places of Peloponnese. Our first station is the canal of Corinth and after that, we are going to explore the places of Ancient Corinth and the historical Mycenae. We'll spend the night in Delphi (accomodation is not included. The accomodation for all, plus the driver's, must be done by the travellers), where in the evening we'll have free time for activities etc. The next morning, we will head to Ancient Sparta and then, to Mystras. There, you will be able to enjoy the views of the castle. Our final destination before our return is the Ancient "Sacred Forrest" which was the name of Ancient Olympia and it's built on the North riverbank of Alfeios.
