En route, you will have a stunning, clear view of the castle, the Old Bridge, the funicular railway and the Hackteufel. On the way down the river, we will drive on the Neuenheimer side past villas steeped in history and famous filming locations such as the “Hotel Heidelberg”. We also cover the more urban side of Heidelberg on our tour, as we glide downstream along the green meadow of the Neuenheimer Neckarwiese in the direction of the Ernst Walz Bridge. During our tour, we will also see Heidelberg’s very own Love Island, the small island in the middle of the Neckar River, up close.
