Embark on a picturesque journey through the vibrant landscapes of Provence with our day trip from Marseille. Explore the enchanting Fontaine de Vaucluse, where crystal-clear waters emerge. After the death of Jesus, Mary Magdalene's moved to Provence and spent her last 33 years in the grotto in the Sainte Baume massif. The place is very inspiring. To totally immerse in this spiritual atmosphere I propose you to hike there by your own and take your time for a better intimate experience (45 min trail). Of course, if you prefer, I can accompany you. Than we'll reach Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, a small coloured Provencal town : free time for shopping, lunch and visit of Mary Magdalene basilica where her skull is preserved. We'll finish the day by the beautiful Sainte Victoire massif where you'll have a nice walk in a little hilltop village or through the wines fields.
