Cihuatan is one of the largest POST-Maya cities in El Salvador, has been under restoration for many years, and now is a beautiful and green park where you will see different structures and 2 ball courts. On route, You will have the opportunity to see the best private museum of Maya and other pre-colonial cultures that habitated this region, the museum is closed to the general public and only available based on reservations. There is a diorama (model) about 100 meters long, which displays 350 clay figures that reflect different scenes of pre-Hispanic life and high-quality clay figures, and more.
