Manuel Antonio National Park is considered one of the most beautiful parks in Costa Rica. This tour you will have the opportunity to see pristine beaches with coral reefs, bordered by exhuberant vegetation and the natural wonders of the tropical rainforest.

On this tour you will depart from the Capital of San José taking a route along the central Pacific coastline. Upon arriving at the Manuel Antonio National Park, where you will take a tour with our guide along the trails, having the possibility of seeing wild animals in their natural state. Remember that it is not a zoo so your sighting is totally natural. After finishing the tour, you will have free time on the beach and the guide will give you the departure time so you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Please send or attach to your reservation at least 24 hours in advance the full names and passport numbers to add it to your ticket, otherwise we will not guarantee your entry. In the National Park there are guided services with a telescope, which has an additional cost if you want a more specialized tour. You can mention to the guide that you want this additional service. The park does not allow the entry of food or single-use plastics, so we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle.

The tour consists of an experiential activity in Finca Agropecuaria Queveri. It consists of going to the paddocks of the farm, and herding the cattle (with the support of Queveri staff) all the way to the old dairy. While doing it, you can enjoy the views and learn about the importance of the place. If the weather let us do so, the tour is going be completed with a visit to the viewpoint, where you can see the volcanic mountain range of Costa Rica (Poás Volcano, Barva Volcano, Irazú Volcano, and Turrialba Volcano) and Tapanti National Park. On this hike we will travel through the area of Valverde Vega in Alajuela, and to Bajos del Toro to visit an area which is recognized for its stunning waterfalls. Poás volcano is a powerful symbol of the geothermal forces that formed Costa Rica. When the mist and clouds part you’ll see the sulfuric, bubbling, green rain fed lake at the bottom, surrounded by smoke and steam rising from fumaroles. Water from the lake is constantly seeping through cracks in the hot rock, evaporating and building pockets of steam. When the pressure in these pockets exceeds the weight of the water above, the steam breaks through in geysers that rocket up to 820 feet (250 meters) high. Don’t worry about getting a shower though, the crater is 1,050 feet (320 meters) deep. At almost a mile (1.6 km) across it’s also the largest active crater in the world. New safety features have been added to protect visitors in case of particularly heavy activity.
