This is the ultimate combination tour! First, we will paddleboard around the calm waters of Maracas Bay in Manuel Antonio. Then, we will head south to discover hidden waterfall gems of the Central Pacific! This truly unique tour will take us to several hidden waterfall gems, which are located south of Quepos. We will stop at 3 different waterfalls all of which can be interacted with. We will jump from some, swim behind waterfalls and even slide down one of the waterfalls we will visit. Please keep in mind that jumping or sliding or even swimming is NOT mandatory, if you would just like to enjoy the setting and scenery that is fine and just as enjoyable. We will also visit one of our favorite beaches in the area, with a breath taking backdrop and caves that lead out to the ocean. We will also stop and have lunch at a restaurant located in the jungle. This is more than a cooking class, we will show you a large botanical garden, a vanilla plantation, a cacao plantation, sugarcane mill and of course the cooking class with the locals. We will start with a lovely short hike is out properly to learn about the ingredients and history of our culinary culture with special focus on the medical herbs garden. We then continue to our local home where we will explain step by step the cutting, dressing, mixing and cooking techniques used in Costa Rica to make delicious meals.

We hike uphill through a lush jungle in daylight and look for different animals such as toucans, sloths, monkeys and various species of birds. At the top of the hill you are treated with a wonderful view of the ocean, the jungle and the sunset (weather permitting). Afterwards we walk down the hill looking for nocturnal wildlife. The area we discover is a private reserve so this an exclusive adventure. Our naturalist tour guides are very experienced and officially certified by the Costa Rican Institute of Tourism (ICT). This tour is one of the most exciting, as you will be able to appreciate the nocturnal animals that are not observed during the day. When the darkness falls, it seems that everything sleeps, but in reality, the night is the awakening of a large part of the animal life, that for many people, is unknown.
