Located near the Ricon de la Vieja Volcano in Costa Rica’s Guanacaste region, the colorado River winds, churns and flows for 3 scenic miles before merging with the Colorado River. As a tour member, you’ll float down this incredible river for one hours, passing through sections which are dominated by class III-ll white-water rapids Midway through the adventure, your guide will help you angle the raft onto the riverbank for a lunch of sandwiches, fruit, snacks and drinks. There is a traditional lunch a Costa Rican representative meal - Casado - (rice, beans, green salad, plantains or picadillo, and meat or fish).

PINEAPPLE TOUR: We start our trip in a comfortable wagon pulled by a tractor and enjoy an interactive explanation about the planting, morphology, development, and harvesting of this sweet golden fruit and eat freshly cut pineapple that is picked right in front of you. Once in front of the waterfall, you will find a spacious and comfortable vantage point from which you can freeze your memories using unique and previously unpublished photographs, and finally take a refreshing swim in the clear waters of the Fortuna River, with an only witness (the River Fortune waterfall).

Waterfall in San Ramon On the southern slopes of the Maderas volcano, about 4 km from San Ramón beach, is this beautiful waterfall that falls over mossy rocks into a small pool. They also own the Biological Station in San Ramón where the trail to the waterfall begins. continue along a small trail. The trail takes you through dense jungle, past old mossy trees, vines and bromeliads.
