Allow me to introduce myself, I am Sebastián, born and raised in Medellín, I am 31 years old, I am an architect, urban planner and passionate about my city. I have participated in the design and execution of some projects in Medellín, and I have also been fortunate to experience first-hand the fascinating transformation of my city and visit all its neighborhoods, which until a few years ago were impossible to access. It is incredible to see how Medellín went from being the most violent city in the world in 1991, to today being one of the leading cities in terms of urban planning and social innovation worldwide. It is a factory that provides support to coffee growers in the department, dignifying their work and publicizing the benefits of coffee. The tour consists of visiting their facility and understanding the process, once the coffee is ready to be threshed, roasted and prepared. It is in this process where coffee acquires the characteristics we feel when drinking it. From the hand of a roaster master, we will know the different levels to roast a coffee. We will have tasting with different coffee samples and finally we can bring a delicious freshly roasted and ground coffee to taste it in its place of origin.
