Guatapé, located on the banks of the Peñol-Guatapé reservoir in the department of Antioquia, is a colorful and picturesque town that is a popular tourist destination. The town is known for its houses decorated with colorful bas-reliefs, its impressive Peñol stone and picturesque location.
