You are going to visit the river is located on a 150m stretch of the Steung Kbal Spean River which is around 25km from the main group of temples near Angkor Wat. There are also other Hindu mythological motifs including carvings of Hanuman, Lakshmi, Rama, Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma. You will stop for lunch meal, and then you will start the tour with a short journey to Banteay Srei which is a beautiful temple located about 37km outside of Siem Reap town. You'll also have the opportunity to stop at a local community along the way and I will help you to experience the daily life of the locals living there. You can test some palm wine and palm sugar (depending on the season) and try other local products as well. Finally, we return back to Siem Reap town.

Your Guide will pick you up from the Airport then you’ll visit the Beng Mealea temple and the Kampong Phluk Floating Village. Get into the Air-conditioned Car and take a short drive through the countryside to Beng Mealea temple (30-minute drive). The Guide will take you to the Ancient Quarry (the Place where ancient Khmer people cut the Stones to build Angkor Wat), you’ll see hundreds of pieces of Stones have been cut and left there since the 12th century. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant the temple. Next up, drive to Kampong Phluk Fishing Village (1hr drive). You visit the village Market to see what the locals are selling and buying. Taste some local fruit & rice. Take a short boat ride through Fishing Village, Flooded Forest, and Mangrove Trees to the Tonle Sap Lake. You’ll stop 5 minutes at a floating house. Then walk through the village to see the everyday life of the villagers there. Drive to Siem Reap City (30 min drive). You'll be drop off at your hotel.

The Angkor Wat Grand Circuit Tour doesn’t actually take you to see Angkor Wat. Instead, you’ll head north of Angkor Thom and visit the temples outside of the ancient city. Most guests will take the Angkor Small Circuit Tour and then take this tour on another day. However, if you prefer to take this tour and skip the small circuit, we can add Angkor Wat on the itinerary for you. This tour starts after breakfast around 8 o’clock in the morning. We’ll take you to get your Angkor Pass if you don’t have it already and then we’ll make our way to the Angkor Park. We’ll go through Angkor Thom and leave through the North Gate starting with our first temple on the tour, Preah Khan. We’ll head round the tour in a clockwise fashion until we get to Srah Srang at the end of the day where we will stop to see the sunset. If you don’t want to see the sunset, we can do this tour in the opposite direction which will help to avoid any crowds.

This tour is designed for those who would like to discover the best temples outside Angkor complex including water fall at National Park Phnom Kulen,  located 50Km north of Siem Reap and combine with other Siem Reap attractions. This is a flexible tour giving you the structure of an itinerary, but allowing you to set your own pace. This is based on your purchasing a 3 day temple pass because the other places like Phnom Kulen and Beng Mealea are used separated passes.

You will be picked up at the hotel at 8 o'clock in the morning. You will see Angkor Wat that is the largest religious temple in the world. Next is Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire (In Angkor Thom : Bayon Temple, Baphoun Temple, the Royal Palace and Pimean Akas Temple, Elephant Terrace, Leper King Terrace, Suor Prat Temples). Next is Taprohm Temple that is overgrown by the tree roots and famous in the movie of Tomb Raider. We will have an hour break in the midday for lunch at a restaurant near the temple area. After finished the tour at about 3 or 4 o'clock, we will transfer you back to the hotel. Starting earlier than usual (at 6.30 am) you will be able to see Angkor Wat less crowded. However, the starting time is your own choice. The tour can also be started after lunch.
