We are going to visit Angkor Wat temple. Then Angkor Thom is a walled city that was built in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. Next the Bayon Temple is known for its 216 smiling faces of Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion.
After that the Terrace of the Elephants is a long platform that was used for royal ceremonies. It is located in Angkor Thom, and it is decorated with bas-reliefs of elephants.
The last Ta Prohm is a temple that has been reclaimed by the jungle. It is known for its overgrown trees and roots, which have intertwined with the ruins of the temple.

Surrounding Siem Reap are often temple ruins, left aside to focus on the landmarks that make Angkor such an attraction. These off-the-chart ruins have played a crucial part in the development of the Khmer Empire. One of these lies hidden in the far north-western corner of the former Angkor kingdom – Banteay Chhmar.
Banteay Chhmar is located around 60 kilometres away from Serey Sophoan and was constructed during the reign of Jayavarman VII in the 12th/13 century. The central temple once held an image of Srindrakumaraputra (the Crown Prince), probably a son of Jayavarman VII.
Before we return to Siem reap, we will stop to visit Prasat Banteay Toap .Banteay Torp is a remote temple located 7.7km south-southeast of Banteay Chhmar (roughly 11 kilometers by modern road). Its name means "the Citadel of the Army", and likely refers to the military garrison stationed here during the reign of King Jayavaramn VII (r. 1181-1219).
