Situated atop a 52 meter high cliff in the Dongrek Mountains forming the natural border between Cambodia and Thailand is Preah Vihear temple, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site on July 7th, 2008. The tour has two options, so it is fit to several types of visitors. Our professional tour guide can explain what the guest are about to see, the history, culture and religious of Cambodian in the past and today. We start at 9:00am and travel to Kampong Phluk village. Then, we take a motorized boat to the village and visit stilted houses, a pagoda, a school and local shops. A small rowing boat can be rent to go through the forest. From October to January is a good time to visit Kampong Phluk.
