During this day we will try to introduce to you the philosophy and history of this ancient and beautiful city Plovdiv. The locals are calling this way of thinking “Aylak”. There is no single definition of this word but in general, it means “Don’t Worry, Be Happy“. You will have guided visits to the main historical sites in the old part of Plovdiv, including some interesting museums. In the afternoon, you will enjoy the unique atmosphere of the city in the part called “The trap” where you will try a good local craft beer and relax. When we finish with the Old town we will continue our adventure toward the oldest brewery in Bulgaria. It was established in 1881 and still is one of the biggest beer producers in Bulgaria. We will visit their craft microbrewery, situated in the remains of the old production facilities. You will have the chance to taste their best beers, to have a guided visit to the production area, and to have a great lunch in their restaurant.

The tour starts from your hotel. The first stop will be Boyana Church, which is situated in Sofia. Afterwards, head towards the Zemen Monastery, were you will arrive after approximately one hour and a half drive. After enjoying Zemen Monastery, you will continue towards Osogovo Monastery in Macedonia. After approximately two hours transfer you reach your destination. One of the most notable natural attractions on the Balkan peninsula 7 Rila Lakes. This tour starts from Sofia to the lift for the lakes.
