During our 32 years on Sydney Harbour, we know all the top spots to visit. We can explore many different locations depending on the conditions and we will do it in style by using beautiful Australian made lightweight double sea kayaks (made by Mirage Sea Kayaks). On our paddle, it is more enjoyable that we cruise at a leisurely pace, therefore you will only need a moderate level of fitness. You will need to be at least an intermediate or experienced kayaker. We do not recommend this tour for beginner paddlers. With a small group, travel north over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the blue water paradise of Port Stephens. With crystal clear waters, Port Stephens boasts over 26 pristine beaches, National Parks and diverse marine life. The action starts with a visit to Birubi Point with the majestic 30km long Stockton Beach and the Southern Hemisphere's biggest sand dunes! This is no tour around a wildlife sanctuary. Instead, we head to one of a number of areas where you are likely to see wild kangaroos and possibly some native Australian birdlife. Our friendly knowledgeable guides aka ‘our kangaroo whisperers‘ are the best there are and will convey you to the Blue Mountains or Outer Sydney or further afield where we normally see many kangaroos, playing, eating, sleeping, etc. On some tours, we have seen over 100 kangaroos in the area on one day. These are wild animals in their natural surrounds. Depending on the day and how they are approached, you may see them lying on the ground, grazing, fighting, bounding away, playing, and generally enjoying themselves. Please note that at times, we will upgrade you to the Urban Kangaroos tour at no extra cost at our discretion. At other times, we will take you to see Wallabies (a smaller species of kangaroo).
