This tour combines the best elements of the reef and rainforest. Starting with the reef we fly to Green Island and then explore the local reefs, including the beautiful Vlasoff Sand Cay. We then track to Palm Cove and climb up to 2,500 feet as we glide over the Great Dividing Range on our way to Kuranda - the village in the rainforest. We then track down the Barron Gorge, home of the immense Barron Falls, before tracking back to Cairns Airport with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.

ESTUARY FISHING IN TRINITY INLET, CAIRNS The open waters, creeks and deep channel of the Cairns Estuary System are an extremely important part of the breeding cycle of juvenile fish. This offers exceptional fishing for adult species in the Cairns area. This state Marine Park is a natural habitat to deep holes, mudflats, snags and drop-offs for a wide variety of fish species. Step back in history, visiting the Southern Hemispheres largest museum dedicated to armoured vehicles and artillery pieces, wander through this world class exhibit before making your way to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Glide over and through the World Heritage Rainforest enjoying two stops enroute. Limited time to explore Kuranda and the many market stalls and attractions, before boarding the Kuranda Scenic Railway. Take the opportunity to learn to dive while you’re in Cairns! With classes limited to eight participants, led by professional and friendly instructors, you’ll learn to dive and earn an internationally recognized PADI certification on your 4-day PADI Open Water dive course. Hotel transfers are included each day, and your course is gradual and safe.
