Join photographer Bridgette on a small group tour (maximum 4 people) to explore the world of the tiny creatures that live in the Cairns Botanic Gardens. This is the only tour of its kind in Cairns. Most of the tiny lifeforms go completely unnoticed, but a magical world awaits to be discovered when you join for a personalized, highly specified tour of the gardens and the treasures it keeps. Assistance is given to those wanting some help improving their photography.

We’re the only one providing genuinely privately guided scuba diving experiences from Port Douglas on the best of the Agincourt Reefs. You’ll experience the Great Barrier Reef in your own private group, with an expert instructor to guide you underwater and show you the best marine life. [Yes, there are other divers on the boat but we do our own thing as a private group.] If you are newly qualified or slightly nervous, our guide is right there to support and assist you. If you’re an experienced diver who wants the freedom to break away from the crowds, we make it happen. If your group is a mix of qualified and unqualified divers, we can still privately guide you all to a maximum of 12m. **Important: With the Viator booking System you must book Certified Divers and Introductory Divers separately with seperate vouchers. Cairns may be a pretty face but its history is also rich and deep, going back at least 40,000 years. Our Wunyami Cultural Tours on Green Island delve into indigenous culture, weaving ancestral stories into the island's land and sea. A visit to the Historic Village Herberton is like stepping back in time. Showcasing Australia’s rich and diverse history this outdoor pioneer museum is testament to an era that is long gone. This incredible museum collects, preserves and displays fascinating historical exhibits from across Australia. The history of this museum is also closely tied with the township of Herberton and features many priceless antiques as well as buildings that have come from the town’s ancestors. The Village currently features over 60 original buildings that date from Herberton’s foundation years and are as they were originally constructed. Walking through the Village, visitors are given a sense of being in a real township complete with apothecary, bottle shop, school, bank, grocer’s store, frock salon, toy shop, mechanic, jail and more. There is just so much to see and do in this amazing village that it needs to be experienced to understand the full depth of history it offers.

ESTUARY FISHING IN TRINITY INLET, CAIRNS The open waters, creeks and deep channel of the Cairns Estuary System are an extremely important part of the breeding cycle of juvenile fish. This offers exceptional fishing for adult species in the Cairns area. This state Marine Park is a natural habitat to deep holes, mudflats, snags and drop-offs for a wide variety of fish species. Common tropical estuarine species caught are but not limited to.....Grunter (Javelin Fish), Fingermark, Blue Salmon, Queen Fish (Queenies), Thread Fin, Mangrove Jack, Estuary Cod, Bream, Flathead, Trevally, Hairtail, Tarpon, Mud Crabs and....The Prize catch a Barramundi.
