This is not a ghost tour but you will be visited by several heroes of the village using modern technology. Visiting historic locations in the southern end of the village the Germanic architecture will be explained. The immigrants flee from Prussia in 1838 which was perilous and full of drama. You’ll hear stores about these settlers as well as the Pioneer Women’s Walking Trail which was a nightly event commencing at midnight. Information and fun facts you won’t know without a local guide. What’s to be found under the ‘ol pear tree? It’s not what you expect.

On this private tour we will pick you upo from your accomodation in Adelaide region (15km) and we will head to the magnificent Clare Valley. We will visit 4 wineries that all produce high quality wines. The tasting fees and lunch is included in the price. From your hotel you will go to Mt Lofty lookout to have a spectacular view over Adelaide plains. After one hour spent in Hahndorf you will depart towards Goolwa where you have an opportunity to sit on a steam Cookle train and travel to Victor Harbour where your driver will meet you at the Victor Harbour train station.
