The itinerary has been carefully planned so that you will take in many different experiences while keeping the schedule at a comfortable and relaxed pace. The first part of this tour through farmland on route to Naracoorte Caves and the Coonawarra wine region is less visually spectacular and is therefore done at a faster pace to allow more time on the Great Ocean Road. Traveling in a small group of no more than 8 people will also allow you more time at places and a more personalised experience.

With over 23 years in Adelaide & the Tourism Industry we have great knowledge about Adelaide and Hahndorf. This is a Narrated Tour and is subject to change as sometimes we have requests to maybe go a longer way thru the Adelaide Hills weather permitting. Sometimes we may skip Mt Lofty. If you can't see it from the city we will waste are time going there, which may give us more time to visit another area along the way or spend more time in Hahndorf itself.

Suited well for sweet-tooths, this two-hour tour has a local guide detailing the amazing stories of locally made products. Between Adelaide to Melbourne stretches the treacherous shipwreck coastline, rugged mountain ranges and miles of natural bushland rich in wildlife and Aboriginal history.  Explore the wild south-west and discover the hidden treasures of this region. Lifting off from the Hoffnungsthal Valley we cruise past the township of Lyndoch veering right, to fly along the western ridge of the Barossa Valley. Here you will see the vast plains that make up the mid-north area whilst viewing contouring vineyards, rolling hills and the palm tree studded roads that lead to Historic Seppeltsfield Winery. Continuing towards Nuriootpa, your pilot will point out Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery, before flying down the valley floor over Tanunda where you can see the stunning old buildings of Chateau Tanunda and many old churches. Flying further south you will enjoy a view over Jacob’s Winery, home of some of the largest wine tanks in Australia each tank holding up to 1.4 million litres of wine. From there your flight takes you to the southern end of the Barossa, past the town of Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall returning finally to our base in the Hoffnungsthal Valley.

This 4.5 hours ( including travel from /to Adelaide CBD base) tour is designed for small private groups up to 12 people maximum.
